Why exederm?
The 'base' cream or ointment to which the active ingredient is added can often be very different from brand to brand. To often many of 'bases' used by other brands can contain potential irritants such as paraben preservatives or unnecessary botanical additives.
Most drugstore products are formulated for the average person with insect bites, stings or poison ivy type skin rash. They have been designed to treat a one-off problem for someone who does not have overly sensitive skin.
We believe that eczema, dermatitis and sensitive skin sufferers are different. Eczema sufferers have very sensitive itchy skin and need to avoid even mild irritants whenever possible.
